The meaning behind the name
In Tamil homes, a wedding has never been a single event. It’s days of relatives arriving, mango-leaf thoranams going up, the scent of jasmine and the glow of brass lamps: a festival the whole family lives in. We started Thirumana Thiruvizha to design that feeling, one celebration at a time.
Today we dress weddings, receptions and every milestone in between, for families who want their setting to feel both traditional and quietly grand.
What we create
A celebration is lived in moments: arriving, the ceremony, the meal, the photographs. We design each one so the whole day feels like a single story.
0101 / Stage & mandapam décor
Your mandapam is where every eye rests and every photograph begins. We build stages that honour the rituals performed on them, from carved pillars and cascading jasmine to clean, contemporary backdrops for the reception.
0202 / Floral design
Jasmine for the muhurtham, marigold for the haldi, roses for the evening. We choose and arrange flowers for each ritual, season and colour story, so nothing looks borrowed from someone else’s wedding.
0303 / Garlands & details
Look closely and a celebration is made of small things: rose and jasmine garlands, hanging flower pendants, banana-leaf borders drawn with kolam patterns. We make them by hand, to the scale of your stage.
0404 / Light & ambience
After sunset, light decides how a space feels. Soft drapes, warm fairy lights, kuthuvilakku and candlelight turn a hall into a reception your guests will remember.

Yes. We work at marriage halls, hotels, temples, lawns and homes across Chennai and nearby areas, and coordinate directly with the venue team.
Always. Tell us about the rituals your family follows and we’ll design the mandapam and details around them.
For most ceremonies, yes, especially jasmine, roses and marigold. Where flowers need to last through long evenings or outdoor heat, we suggest premium artificial florals. You choose the mix.
Every celebration is different, so we quote after understanding your venue, scale and design. You’ll receive a clear, itemised estimate before anything is confirmed.
Yes. Birthdays, valaikaapu, housewarmings and home engagements are some of our favourite settings to design.
Most stages take a few hours; larger hall décor may begin the evening before. We plan this with your venue in advance.
